The Dupont Drawing Group has been meeting since 2005 in the Dupont Circle neighborhood in Washington, DC. Artists meet on most Wednesday (or Tuesday) nights from 7:00pm~9:30pm and draw from the live model. It is a self-directed drawing session with no formal instruction offered. No materials are provided, however the current host may be willing to provide basic materials in a pinch. Drawing spots and easels are available on a first come first serve basis, arrive any time after 6:45pm. There is a modest model fee collected to pay our models. The drawing begins promptly at 7:00pm.

Currently the group is hosted in The Church of the Pilgrims* on the 3rd floor in a private painting studio.The building is secure and all visitors are required to observe escorted access while entering and leaving the building. No reservations are required, notices usually go out on Tuesday (or Monday for a Tuesday session) confirming a given Wednesday session. Cancellations will be sent out as soon as we know of scheduling issues.
